2017 Yearbook

Baby It’s Cold Outside
I hope everyone is having a wonderful (and in our case chilly) holiday week. My thermometer in Argyle told me -16 when I woke up this morning. It’s a little different than North Carolina, that’s for sure! The dogs have informed me that they are southern dogs and not up for this kind of weather. One of my best friends in NC told me that “-16 is not a real temperature.” That about sums it up!

A Year in Review??
I struggled a bit with how to wrap up this year on the blog. To re-hash all that’s happened this year is a bit much for me. Instead I decided to think about what I want to take with me into 2018.

This year I found a strength and confidence in myself that I didn’t know I had. Earlier this year there was at time when I had to make every single decision for our family without being able to talk anything over with Ben. He was simply too sick. I made those decisions and some were right and some were wrong. But I made them.

One of those decisions was to buy the school house without much of a plan of what exactly I was going to do next (see first post), luckily Gramp seems to have a plan. So I’m going to start 2018 with the confidence to make decisions and keep moving forward, knowing that I won’t always do the right thing and I won’t always know quite what will be around the next corner, but that that is okay.

2017 Yearbook
So….lucky me Gramp and Em upgraded the blog for me as a Christmas gift. The big difference you will see is that the website now supports VIDEOS!!!! So I’m planning all sorts of vids for the coming year. For now, I put all the photos of the school house into a very simple (and kind of long) timeline slideshow. Check it out!

Looking Forward
I got this awesome gift from the in-laws. Time for more demo at the school house!
