Missed You! Hey friends it’s been a few weeks! Gramp and I got a little distracted this month and yep, it’s still cold outside. This post is a bit of a catch all to let you know what we’ve been up to!
On the Market
Our house in Argyle is on the market! I’ve been stealing Gramp away from the school house to do some projects around my own house. We’ve done quite a bit of painting and well….okay mostly painting. Ben and I want to move to the Village of Greenwich to be closer to family, friends, and the school house (not necessarily in that order!). Here’s a link to check out the listing.

Beach or Bust
After the deep freeze in January I decided I wasn’t going to make it through winter without a break. We went back to Wilmington, North Carolina for a week to visit friends and soak up some sunshine. February 15, 2017 (yep the day after Valentine’s Day) was the day we found out Ben had a brain tumor. And believe me it was all in a rather dramatic fashion. Spending the anniversary of that event in North Carolina was a nice distraction and stopped us from reliving a lot of that business. Plus Philip got to spend tons of time outside without bundling up and we made it to the beach!

Demo or Bust?
Gramp, Ben and I made it out to the school house over the weekend and really knocked out a lot more demo. After which Gramp said “wow, I didn’t realize we had this much left, we’re going to need another dumpster” I said “uhoh.” We removed all the crown molding (and saved it to potentially put back up). Ben removed all the baseboard and Gramp started to tackle the area where the coal stove and chimney were.

Getting High Tech
Ben is practicing his time lapse skills so that we can take a video when the tree comes down. Here’s what we were up to last weekend. You’ll see we had a couple of visitors. Ben’s dad, Bill and my friend Alex stopped by to check out the progress. Alex saw everything and said “I think you are very brave.” eek!
Gramp’s Old School Hits the Art Scene
When sister Sarah was home this fall she grabbed her fancy camera and took some shots at the school house. Turns out two of the photos made it into a show. Sarah’s currently working on her Masters in Fine Arts in Boston. The show is titled “Light in the Basement, SMFA Photo Exhibition 2018” at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and is on view now through March 5. Check out her work below!

Logo Design Continues
Ben jumped in to use his design skills for our logo. We’re still tweaking it but see what you think. What lettering looks best? Cursive or print?
Next Week
I’m digging though the archives of Tefft family photos…I think we’ll take another trip down memory lane and catch up with some family members!
I vote for the cursive

Congratulations Sara ! The time lapse video is awesome! Was that Gramps idea to make it look like he moves faster in his old age than he thinks yuk! Yuk!

There is perceptibly a bunch to realize about this. I suppose you made certain good points in features also.
